Let me begin with the official name...
Ventura, officially named San Buenaventura, is a city in the county seat of Ventura County, California, United States. It is a coastal city located northwest of Los Angeles. It’s on the Pacific coast overlooking the Santa Barbara Channel. The city is located between Malibu and Santa Barbara, overlooking Anacapa and Santa Cruz islands.Ok now lets talk great food, creativity and fun in Ventura county. Now to be clear you will get the best advice from walking on the beach and chatting with the locals, " where to get the best coffee", "how to avoid the crowds at...", " where to get the best clam chowder" etc. etc. I still have my favorite spots but now I live in northern California and somethings, many things have changed.
