Gathering references for study and creative ideas can overwhelm and overload your brain unless you stay organized. In this video I show how you can stay organized by using tools that are available on the cheap. I think I got this binder from the dollar store, I put one of my artworks as a cover and fill inside with things I find inspiring or that peak an idea. I will often print in black and white as this will show the different value of color and often the black and white allows me to add my own color pallet to my work without being swayed even if subconsciously at times by the color of nature or what someone else has put down. I can keep some references in my binder for years before pulling it out to create a new masterful work.
